Who Reads This?

Every day I see statistics of the people who read my blog. Most of them come from Canada, the United States, Australia and the UK. But who are the people from the Philippines, Norway, Serbia, Turkey, Lebanon, Argentina, Estonia, South Africa and more who show up here day after day? It’s kind of amazing that from all over the world, there are people who get something out of what I write. That humbles me.

I believe I have a responsibility as a blogger. While this is a forum to express my personal views and opinions, I am also setting an example. And that example is to stay true to what I know to be true. To convey the same message here as I would in person. In other words, this blog is not my my alter-ego.

I also have a responsibility to ensure that I don’t lead you down a path of destruction or danger or depression. It has always been my intent to simply share my journey with you – to encourage you and give you hope, in whatever form that takes. I want to inspire you, to make you smile, and to make you think about your God-given potential.

I’m not a highly educated philosophical kind of person. I don’t mingle with the rich and famous. I haven’t got a position or a title or a brass name plate on my office door. But I am a wife and a mother and a grandma, a daughter and a sister and an auntie, a cousin and a co-worker and a friend. I am a student of life, an observer of people, and a child of the King. What I do matters to somebody. What I say counts for someone.

So wherever you are when you read this, know that I am thinking about you today. I am praying for you – that the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ will bless you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). You are important. You matter. Your life counts.

Thanks for reading. I am blessed by knowing you did.
