I am back to the writing.
In reality, I never stopped. But the sidetracking thing happens a lot and it doesn’t take much to distract me from the task at hand. And I wonder where my grandchildren get it from . . .
My Katie Blue story is in the revision/revamp/rework stage. The book itself is about three-quarters finished, I think, but I was not happy where it was going so I just put it aside. For five months. I have changed the point of view (POV) so often that I’ve rewritten everything at least four times. Some parts must be on the twentieth round by now. But this is the way it works. At least for me.
I’ve set some goals. Again.
And I am making myself accountable to someone who has a gun.
Onward . . .
Just wondering if you share your gun slinger with other distracted and sidetracked writers?
I’ll send in a request on your behalf!
Wendy, I’m thrilled to hear you’re working on Katie again. This is very good news.
I can’t wait to read it.
Yeah, I kinda missed her and she was a little upset with me about leaving her in a pickle for so long. Time to get her out.
