God’s Withholding Problem

See the little saying on that button up there? God doesn’t say that. We do.

He doesn’t have a withholding problem.

God isn’t sitting up there with a magic wand bestowing on some and holding back on others. He just gives. Always.

In our narrow understanding, we want to put Him in a box, expecting Him to come out on cue. When it suits us. And then we wonder why things didn’t work out the way we wanted them to. We still don’t get it that God is going to do what He wants, no matter what we think.

Maybe we just need to take a look around and receive what He’s giving.

And stop withholding ourselves from Him.
