I have about had it with hockey. It isn’t enough that we have to watch it 10 months out of the year – we now have games on every single day until the playoffs are over. I should receive a widow’s pension from the NHL.
Does anyone else see there is a conspiracy here? I am convinced the hockey teams are paid to participate. This is evident in the sheer number of overtime games being played, not to mention the fact that nearly every series is going seven games. All of this means more money for the hockey clubs. And less time for husbands, brothers, and boyfriends to do anything but sit in front of their TVs working up a sweat over skater dudes trying to get a little rubber cookie into a net. Blech.
I should stop now.
