Heaven

Two people passed away this week.

One was a 35-year-old husband and father; the other was a 5-year-old boy.

I never met either of these people, but I knew them through others who loved them and talked about them in wonderful detail.

The common denominator with these two is that they are in Heaven today, joyfully praising the Father along with the multitudes that arrived before them. There is no pain, no suffering, and their fight has been won.

I’m thinking about Heaven today.

And I am so thankful that God loves us enough that He has made a way for us to be there with Him for all eternity! It’s so simple and yet so profoundly vital. The Bible says in Romans 8:9-10, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.”

That’s all.
