It’s early. It’s dark. And I can hear the rain outside. Well, maybe not the actual rain, but I can hear cars tires plowing through water as they drive by. I should be grateful it’s not snow, right? As any good former Saskatchewan resident would say, “You don’t have to shovel it.” That’s a small comfort. Who knew that this part of the west coast is actually a rain forest? I sure didn’t – at least not when we moved here eleven years ago. We found out pretty quick.
I’m trying to find a profound parallel here, but it escapes me.
