Friday, Clouds and Malaria Pills

As you see the title of this blog, you may wonder what in the world is going through my head. If you know me at all, however, you will understand the rabbit-trail path my mind follows during the course of a five minute span. So, the last five minutes have been about Friday, clouds and malaria pills. Let me explain.

It’s Friday – YAY! What is it about Fridays that seem to cause everyone to smile more, laugh a lot, and generally kick back a little? Impending weekend, I guess. And clouds? Well . . . I am looking outside my office window at the great view of cloud-shrouded mountains with the sun peeking through in various places. Breathtaking. The malaria pills come from a phone call just received from Jordan. She had shots this morning in preparation for her next missions trip (to Peru) and she has to take malaria pills instead of getting a needle. Poor girl. We know how she loves to take pills. So, did that explain my train of thought? I know, it makes no sense whatsoever, but it is what it is.

I really have nothing profound to write at the moment, so instead of rambling on, I’ll just say that today is an awesome day and I am so excited to see what God will do!!!

Happy Friday!
